How we reach in... We provide Trinity Lutheran Church members an opportunity to be an example of Christ's love to children in a partner public school. Kids Hope USA mentors are Trinity Lutheran Church members who are each partnered with a single elementary school child to act as a mentor for one hour each week. This program mobilizes our congregation and enables them to be "the gospel with skin on" to children in our community. This ministry encourages the mentors to be an example of God's love, rather than to speak about God's love. Kids Hope USA also calls for prayer partners in our congregation. Each mentor/child relationship has a behind-the-scenes prayer partner who prays for the mentor, the child and the program as a whole. In this way, Kids Hope encourages our members to become more involved in prayer and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, through communication with Him. Kids Hope USA is a partnership between Trinity Lutheran Church and Crowne Hill Elementary, a local public school. This program enables volunteers from our church to be trained and equipped to help children in our community. There is a great need in the public school system for mentors, and our Kids Hope ministry addresses that need directly with Christian volunteers. Although we are not able to evangelize in this program, we are able to reach out to children in need, and to share with them the love and caring that only a Christ-filled heart can faithfully provide. Our mentors are recognized as members of both Kids Hope USA and Trinity Lutheran Church. They are ambassadors for Trinity Lutheran Church, who represent God's love at work in our community.

How we reach in... By following these three guiding principles: to teach the Scriptures as they reveal God’s plan of salvation; to link Sunday school to the worship life of the church; and to unite families in the study of God’s Word, our Sunday school program, “Growing in Christ” keeps our church families ‘in the word’. Also, as children grow from preschool through high school, students will come to recognize the Bible stories and discover the depth of God’s Word in each story. All of the lessons match the church worship schedule (lectionary) so that families are able to discuss what they have learned as they drive home or when they gather around the dinner table. In addition to our Sunday school programs, we offer different Vacation Bible School sessions throughout the year. During the Lenten season, we have a VBS every week on Wednesday nights. In the summer months, we have a week long VBS that is dynamic and fun, filled with music, crafts, Bible lessons and more!
How we reach out... By providing a nurturing environment our Sunday school classes can be instrumental in allowing children to ‘fit in’ right away when they attend with other children their own ages. Children are welcomed by our very loving Sunday school teachers. Every child is made to feel important and special, just as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ feels about them. We use a “buddy” system for new children; they are paired with another child so they immediately have a new friend. Teachers take the time to introduce new students asking simple questions and allowing these new friends to tell us a little about themselves (such as their age, about their siblings or pets, about their favorite foods and games they like to play). Older students are welcomed in a similar way, with introductions and welcoming questions. We make every effort to make all students feel cared for and welcome in our classrooms and throughout the church campus. Usually when a student joins our Sunday school classes, parents are soon to follow joining Bible studies, fellowship events and service projects. » Iglesia Hispana Trinidad
Alcanzando hacia adentro… Creemos que cada individuo ha sido equipado con dones y talentos únicos y que ha sido creado con un propósito y destino. Al proveer un ambiente Cristo-céntrico con un programa cuidadosamente balanceado que influirá positivamente en el desarrollo social, físico, emocional, intelectual y sobre todo espiritual de cada individuo; es nuestro objetivo el ofrecer a cada creyente la oportunidad de formar una unidad que redunde en el crecimiento y desarrollo mutuo, guiados por las Sagradas Escrituras que en la carta del Apóstol San Pablo a los Gálatas 6: 2 enseñan: ‘Sobrellevad los unos las cargas de los otros, y cumplid así la ley de Cristo.’
Alcanzando hacia fuera… Además ofrecemos a la comunidad hispana de Temecula y a las ciudades vecinas un ambiente cristiano que le ayude en su crecimiento espiritual donde disfrutar de una relación viva y personal con Dios por mediación de su Hijo, nuestro Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo. Es así nuestro objetivo y nuestra oración que nuestro trabajo impacte y alcance a la comunidad hispano hablante y alimentar su fe cristiana mientras hacemos públicas las Buenas Nuevas de salvación en Cristo en nuestro quehacer diario al compartir Su amor con los unos con los otros.
