Trinity Lutheran Preschool (TLC Preschool)
» TLC Preschool provides a Christ-Centered environment with a carefully balanced program that will be a positive influence on the social, mental, physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development of each individual child. We believe that every child has been equipped with unique gifts and talents, and has been created with purpose and destiny. It is our goal to team with parents in each child’s growth and development as they are nurtured and loved to their full potential. We cooperate with the home in helping parents fulfill Prov. 22:6... “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Additionally, every week a child from each class is chosen to receive our Chapel Award for “Shining Brightly for Jesus” in the actions, attitudes, and Christian character displayed.
» We provide the community of Temecula Valley with a Christian learning environment where children and their families can enter into a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ. The community is impacted by the ministry of TLC Preschool where children and their families are nurtured in their Christian faith. During the school year, we offer service projects where the families can participate in sharing Jesus’ love with others, and our chapel offerings support an orphanage in Mexico. Our prayer ministry reaches out to the community as we pray for the needs of our families and our community.
What We Offer at Trinity Lutheran PreSchool
» BEE-FIT teaches physical fitness with an energetic and fun-based approach. Children meet with our qualified fitness instructor for weekly work-outs. The children exercise to music and learn healthy habits, and parents receive a monthly newsletter with healthy hints for keeping kids fit.
» C.H.I.P. created in conjunction with the "Amber Alert" system, this program is designed to Educate, Identify and Protect our children. Each child receives an ID Badge, Wrist Band and CD which includes all your child's identity information including a photo and is useful to the local police departments in emergencies.
» CHAPEL is held as a weekly whole-school fellowship opportunity, with a focus on God. Our primary purpose is to present each Bibly story through words, visuals, songs and interactive participation.
» SIGN LANGUAGE lessons are taught weekly. Children learn basic expressions, including signs for emotions, manners, colors, Bible verses and songs. Teachers and children enjoy integrating this form of communication into the classroom.
» PLAYGROUND! Trinity's outdoor environment includes climbing structures, water/science areas, bike trails and gardens, and is surrounded by security fencing which encompasses the entire Trinity campus.
» ZOO PHONICS believes that children are ready, willing and eager to learn to read. It integrates sound, motion and letter shapes, keeping the learning playful, interactive and child-centered.
Meet Our Schools Director Joyce Linstrom
» I have spent the last 7 years with the students here at TLC Preschool, first as a teacher and since 2006 as Director. I have been blessed with wonderful and loving teachers and students that have strengthened my focus on Early Childhood Development. With my degree in Biblical Studies and my 20 years in Early Childhood Education I still continue my education as I love to learn and read. I also teach Sunday school and am the Director of the Sparkies in the Awana program. As for my personal life I enjoy reading and listening to music and along with my four children – Ryan (and his wife Amber), Ethan, Megan, and Katelan, I value my time with friends and family.
